I. Introduction to Testing Center

Established in 2009 and covering an area of ​​about 550 ㎡, HAID Testing Center is equipped with over 100 sets of equipment worthy of over 5 million yuan. In addition, 26 management and technical professionals are staffed. In July 2011, HAID Testing Center passed the preliminary review of laboratory accreditation of China National Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). In October 2012, after the regular reviewing and monitoring of Accreditation Committee, the Center was allowed to maintain CNAS accreditation and expand testing items. In June 2014, the Center passed the final review of laboratory accreditation of CNAS. In October 2015, the Center passed the application of supervision review + testing item expansion. Currently, 50 test items of two types in this Center have passed the laboratory accreditation of CNAS, which could detect common nutrition indicators of feed, heavy metals, vitamin, additives and drug residue. Test reports issued by the Center can be added CNAS symbols and ILAC-MRA/CNAS marks, which have received the recognition of international accreditation bodies.

. Equipment

HAID Testing Center is equipped with more than 100 sets of equipment worth of over 5 million yuan, including amino acid analyzer, high performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, ion chromatography, atomic absorption spectrophotometry meter, dual channel atomic fluorescence spectrometer, ultraviolet spectrophotometer, high-precision digital display microscope (Olympus SZX-7), near-infrared analyzer, and automatic fiber analyzer, etc. The high-precision detection equipment further improves the capability of scientific research for HAID Research Institute.

1、Amino Acid Analyzer

British Biochrom 30+: Hydrolysis detecting 16 kinds of amino acids
Hitachi L-8900: Acid Hydrolysis detecting 16 amino acids and free amino acids

2、High Performance Liquid Chromatography

Waters H-Class Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatogra-phy: rapid and sensitive, mainly used for the projects to detect toxins
Waters 2695 HPLC: mainly used for vitamins, additives and drug residue detection and analysis

3、Gas Chromatography

Agilent 6820: mainly used for fatty acid composition analysis

4、Ion Chromatography

Qingdao Sheng Han CIC-100: mainly used for detection of choline chloride content

1. CNAS-Approved Testing Items:
Animal nutrients: amino acids, crude protein, crude ash, crude fat, crude fiber, moisture, calcium, total phosphorus, acid value, volatile basic nitrogen, peroxide value, water-soluble chloride, protein solubility, free gossypol, wet gluten, pepsin digestibility, sand, the value of corn fatty acids, sulfur-containing amino acids, salt, DL- methionine, L-lysine, aliphatic acid.
Trace Elements: copper, iron, manganese, zinc, arsenic, lead, cadmium, chromium, fluorine.
Additives: water-soluble phosphorus, phosphorus soluble citrate, nicotinamide, choline chloride, vitamin C, vitamin A acetate, vitamin E, biotin, vitamin B2, ethoxyquin, Olaquindox, xanthophyll.
Toxin Analyses: vomitoxin, aflatoxin B1, zearalenone, ochratoxin A, melamine.

Iodine value, biogenic amines, volume weight, melamine kit, Propionic acid, phytase activity, microscopic examination, urea, ammonium salt, mineral oil, vitamin D3, salmonella, aureomycin, florfenicol, energy, digestible energy, bionic digestability of monogastric animal, starch gelatinization, canthaxanthin, fast examination of near infrared spectroscopy.

 

 

Microbiology Lab

Introduction to Microbiology Lab

Established in 2006, Microbiology Lab was affiliated to Institute of Fundamental Research of HAID Research Institute of HAID Group.  Since its establishment, Microbiology Lab has adhered to the corporate culture of HAID Group and followed the demands of market and customers to build one high-level, high-tech and high-quality R&D and service team. The Microbiology Lab mainly focuses on the following four research directions such as "Microbial Germplasm Resources Center Construction of Feeding and Environmental Improvement", "Fermentation Technology and Industrialization Research of Microbial Strain", "Study of Microorganism Improvement Technology of Feeding Raw Material" and "Recycling Treatment of Animal Husbandry Waste". After transformation of the Microbiology Lab, hundred-grade purification lab, microbiological physical & chemical lab, and pilot plant of liquid fermentation, and solid fermentation have been equipped for the seed selection and gene identification of microorganisms, study of fermentation method and metabolism regulation, high-density and high-expression fermentation process optimization experiment of beneficial microorganism, isolation and purification technology of microbial metabolites.
